Senior Manager – Recycled Concrete and Aggregates Business

Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager with a strong background in the concrete or aggregates industry to lead the establishment of our new recycled concrete and aggregates business. This role involves setting up and managing the facility, overseeing the crushing of aggregates, and turning them into high-quality recycled concrete products. The ideal candidate will either have extensive experience sales or operations the in concrete/aggregate industry, with a deep understanding of industry standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Setup: Lead the setup of the new recycled concrete and aggregates facility, including equipment installation, process optimization, and operational workflow.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and manage a team to operate the facility, ensuring high standards of efficiency and safety.
- Operational Management: Oversee the entire production process, from aggregate crushing to concrete production, ensuring quality control and compliance with industry standards.
- Technical Oversight: Utilize expertise in concrete and aggregates to improve processes, enhance product quality, and maintain operational excellence.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with environmental and safety regulations, fostering a safe working environment and sustainable practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in the concrete or aggregates industry, with significant experience in operations and facility management.
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities with a focus on operational excellence and team management. Technical expertise in aggregate crushing and concrete production.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the concrete and aggregates market, including production processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
- Personality: A proactive leader with a problem-solving mindset, capable of driving operational success and continuous improvement.
