RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out the full spectrum of corporate secretarial function and listing compliance duties
- Preparation for, conduct of, and recording of board and shareholder meetings
- Provide corporate secretarial advice to business units, management and board as needed
- Liaise effectively with board and shareholders on board and shareholder matters, and execution of mandates
- Observe adherence to established policies and procedures to ensure a strong corporate structure
- Introduce and implement best practices in governance and all other aspects of corporate secretarial function
- Maintain and ensure timely completion of corporate actions and other processes essential to ensuring statutory compliance in relevant jurisdictions
- Participate in new initiatives and ad-hoc projects
- Actively participate in the development of the quality management system and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures
- Qualified as a Chartered Secretary.
- Minimum 6 years of corporate secretarial experience for Assistant Manager level and 8 years for Manager level
- Knowledge of company law, and practical knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory framework governing any stock exchange is an advantage
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Excellent English language skills written and verbal
- Mature and self-motivated
