Job Responsibilities:
- Production of the design of all mechanical systems and determining the associated construction budget cost during the programming and conceptual design phases, for large / complex projects
- Determining and defining sustainability targets
- Review of the design of mechanical systems, produced by other team members, for technical compliance with specified and contracted client / customer requirements
- Review of all mechanical tender documentation
- Implementing the design checklist and tracking progress
- Arranging internal design reviews with the support of the HOD
- Representing the Mechanical Team in monthly Client Meetings
- Compiling lessons learned and briefing HOD on same;
- Formulating any necessary recovery plans relating to Design, Cost & Schedule
- Mentoring of the Senior Engineers or Engineer with the intent of securing properly trained personnel to ensure the continual expansion of the company.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 10 years of design experience in life sciences projects.
