Job Description:
This is a full time role for a Class 3 or Class 4 Delivery Driver located in Airline Road. Our clients are in the logistics industry. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods to and from designated locations within a specified time frame. They assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring that items are handled with care to prevent damage. Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor, they address any delivery-related questions or concerns from customers, providing excellent service throughout the process.
In addition to driving, they conduct routine checks on their vehicle, including monitoring fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety equipment, and report any mechanical issues as needed. They also manage delivery paperwork, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. Drivers plan routes efficiently to maximize delivery speed and reduce time on the road, all while adhering to traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies to ensure the safety of themselves, their co-workers, and the public.
