We're seeking a highly motivated Marketing Specialist to spearhead marketing content strategy and localisation efforts for the Indian market.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our client’s brand and e-commerce store resonates
with the Indian audience, driving engagement and growth.
This role requires a deep understanding of the Indian market, cultural nuances, consumer
behaviour, and digital trends.
What You’ll Be Doing (ie. Job Duties):
- Content Strategy Review: Evaluate existing content strategy and provide recommendations for localization, ensuring it aligns with Indian market preferences.
- Localisation Guidance: Collaborate with the regional marketing team to adapt, review and localise the content, messaging, and campaigns for the Indian market.
- Campaign Execution: Support the execution of marketing campaigns in India, ensuring they are culturally relevant and effective.
- Content Publishing & QA Support: Build articles and landing pages via Google Store's content management system (Contentful) for Google Store India’s Content Hub using content (assets and copy) provided by Google Store internal stakeholders and conduct approvals with the regional marketing team
- Trend Spotting: Stay abreast of the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices in India.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience).
- 6 years of marketing operations or internal Digital/Brand Marketing team.
Skills:
- Expertise in Indian Market: Proven experience in marketing within the Indian market, with a deep understanding of cultural nuances, consumer behavior, and digital landscape.
- Strong Strategic Skills: Ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Localization Proficiency: Experience in adapting marketing content and campaigns for different markets, ensuring cultural relevance and effectiveness.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Data-Driven Approach: Ability to analyze data and insights to inform marketing decisions and optimize campaign performance.
- Passion for Digital Marketing: A keen interest in the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and proactively, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong experience operating within cross-functional teams, ideally in a matrix organisation.
- Resourceful and results-oriented with an enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Extremely organised, methodical and detail-oriented individual
