Our client an established asset management firm is currently looking for a Senior Trade Floor / Desktop Support Engineer to join their team in Singapore to support their business growth
Responsibilities
- Deliver superior End User Experience in the areas of hardware, software, networking support to fast pace trading environment
- Provide Level 1 to Level 2 desktop infrastructure support to end users / traders
- Provide timely resolution on Bloomberg and Reuters system
- Attending to other issues such as network, connectivity, productivity software, remote access, voice infrsatructure, messaging, etc.
- Handle user questions, complaints and problems, tracking, measuring
- Providing support on application / software used by traders
- Report and escalate problems in a timely manner
- Troubleshooting and resolution of the Microsoft Windows desktop environment
- Work with vendor on projects or complex issues
- Handling issues relating to onboarding and offboarding of users
Qualification / Requirements
- Min 10 years of experience in desktop support role (level 2)
- Must have at least 5 years experience in investment bank or dealing room environment
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Windows desktop environment
- Good communication skills and able to work in fast pacing and demanding environment
- Familiar with networking concepts, remote access solutoin
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills to be able to communicate wiith business userr
