- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedures, providing instructions, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, such as MRI, as prescribed by a physician or other healthcare professionals. Evaluate the quality of images and provide accurate reports on the findings to the healthcare team for diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
- Ensure that all imaging procedures follow established radiation safety protocols to minimize the risks of radiation exposure for patients and colleagues.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring that it is properly calibrated and maintained according to established guidelines.
- Maintain clinical records, follow up with patients, and provide timely reports to healthcare professionals as required.
- Participate in quality improvement and quality assurance activities to improve the overall quality and safety of the imaging services provided.
Requirements
- Diploma/ Degree in Radiography from a recognized institution and AHPC Certification is a must.
- Able to work in a team or independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to present a professional image and deliver top-quality customer service
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
