Job Responsibilities:
Clinical
- Assess patients’ mobility, transfers, and ambulation to identify impairments and plan treatment.
- Implement and adjust treatment plans as needed, including manual therapy, electrotherapy, and functional training.
- Provide walking aids and educate patients and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Professional
- Practice physiotherapy ethically, respecting confidentiality and cultural values.
- Engage in continuous learning, participate in meetings, and supervise students.
- Liaise with external organizations and work with volunteers if needed.
Administrative
- Update daily patient stats, maintain equipment, and contribute to policy reviews.
- Lead outpatient services, therapy aides, and rehab programs as assigned.
Health & Safety
- Follow safety guidelines, attend required training (CPR, manual handling, fire safety), and report hazards.
Requirements
- Degree in Physiotherapy (recognized by AHPC), registered with AHPC.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in geriatric or long-term care.
- Empathetic, a strong team player, and able to motivate staff.
