Duration of Service:
- Contract Period: From 2 May 2025 to 30 April 2026.
- Option to Extend: The Contractor grants the Authority the option to extend the Contract for a further period from 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2027.
Personnel Deployment Hours:
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:30 am to 4:15 pm, inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break.
- Service Not Required on: Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
Scope of Services:
The Services required are set out as follows:
Assist the School’s Science Department in administrative and general maintenance duties including:
- Manage and maintain proper inventory and conditions of Science equipment and materials.
- Housekeeping of the laboratories and preparation rooms.
- Assist teachers in the preparation of materials for laboratory and E2K lessons, and during laboratory lessons.
- Assist in creating manipulatives for Science teaching and learning.
- Support teachers in conducting Science activities during recess when necessary.
- Take charge of the maintenance of animals (birds, frogs, stick insects) and their enclosures in the school.
- Assist in the watering and care of plants in the Eco, Butterfly, Rooftop, and Community In Nature (CIN) Gardens on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
The Personnel must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Education: MUST possess at least a GCE “N” level qualification.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience: MUST HAVE at least 3 years of similar working experience in a school.
