Duration of Service:
- Contract Period: From 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
- Option to Extend: The Contractor grants the School the option to extend the Contract for a further period of one year.
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM, inclusive of 45 minutes lunch break.
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM, inclusive of 45 minutes lunch break.
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
*If the personnel prefers to have a 30-minute lunch break, the working hours will be shortened by 15 minutes per day.
Scope of Services:
The Services required are set out as follows:
- Open and lock the doors and windows of laboratories to ensure safety and security.
- Maintain general cleanliness of equipment and workspaces.
- Maintain general cleanliness of school premises.
- Assist in the preparation of apparatus, equipment, and chemical reagents for Science practical lessons.
- Clean and maintain basic science laboratory apparatus, equipment, and materials.
Qualification, Skills & Experience of the Contractor’s Personnel:
The Personnel should minimally have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Primary education.
- Able to handle chemicals such as acids and bases.
- Has some knowledge of laboratory safety.
- Has prior working experience in a science laboratory, preferably in a junior college.
