Roles & Responsibilities
- Update records for accounts payable and petty cash processing.
- Review AP aging reports and highlight any exceptions.
- Reconcile vendor statements of account (SOA) with company records, focusing on major suppliers.
- Update accounts receivable records regularly.
- Prepare the general ledger according to assigned audit schedules.
- Manage monthly and yearly closings for small entities.
- Handle the full set of accounts for small entities.
- Assist in preparing GST returns, corporate income tax returns, and ECI filings.
- Support quarterly, half-yearly, and year-end stock takes led by the finance department.
- Prepare stock take variance reports for review by superiors.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience handling a full set of accounts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in the retail industry is preferred.
