Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Saturday: 09:00 AM - 01:00 PM
Remuneration: $2,500 - $3,000 (depending on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Traffic Controller to manage daily transportation operations within our clients logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating freight delivery and collection, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily transport operations for air, sea LCL, and container trucking services.
- Assign jobs to lorry drivers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and collection of shipments.
- Monitor container drivers for import and export activities, coordinating movements in and out of seaports and container yards.
- Maintain communication with drivers and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
- Assist in problem-solving and addressing any operational challenges that arise.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Provide training and support to new team members as needed.
Requirements:
- Residing in the east zone of Singapore.
- Minimum educational qualification: GCE 'O' Level or 'N' Level.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Basic computer knowledge, especially in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to work late if required.
- Comprehensive training will be provided to equip the successful candidate with the necessary skills for the role.
