The Graduate Trainee (GT) Programme is a special management development programme for PSB Academy fresh graduates. Designed to give trainee hands-on experience, trainees are assigned duties and tasks that enable them to learn the different aspects of the business and interact with managers and the management team.
The programme entails a 1-year contract, with each department rotation, at duration of 3 to 6 months.

Role 1
Department: Uni Partnership _ CU (Student Services)
- Student Engagement
- Student Services counter duty, assisting students for general enquiry
- Managing general email enquiries
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and University where appropriate, to answer / resolve student query / feedback effectively and timely.
2. Course administration
- Liaise with off-site admissions team on offer pack and any other related cohort matters.
- Organise induction / orientation, Student Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC) sessions.
- Liaise with Student Success Office on student pass matters
- Prepare info for STP renewal
- Ensure students are registered on e-attendance system and Blackboard, where required.
- Management Student Learning System for students, including creation of account, module enrolment and deactivation of inactive students etc
- Process enrolment related student transactions for remodule, deferment, exemption, course transfer and withdrawal etc and accurate update of student status in SMS.
- Prepare class attendance.
- Monitor and track student attendance, administer warning letter, follow up on absenteeism and provide weekly / monthly reports; flag for counselling for low attendance, disciplinary/ behavourial issues.
- Follow up on student absences for exams
- Reconcile enrolment numbers and collection of revenue.
- Follow-up with students on ageing payment and any payment related issues such as late payment, financial issues, request for instalment, etc
- Prepare reports and ensure accuracy for on time payment of royalty payment to University
- Ensure timely and accurate update of student status on eTEAMS for graduated, withdrawn and deferred students and inform the University timely.
- Liaise with University on student administrative matters.

- Ad hoc projects as assigned and when required

Role 2
Department: School of Foundation Studies
Account Management / Relationship Management for Study Tour (ST) and Executive Training (ET)
Services:
- Support study tour personnel to manage study tour accounts with existing clients for ST and ET
- Maintain a positive relationship with existing ST and ET partners to focus on future recurring / repeated collaborations through both internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Manage the study tour accounts with existing clients for ST and ET that may require new negotiations
- Work closely with key stakeholders together with Study tour personnel (MCC, Ops, Schools, ISR, SSO and external vendors) to design, secure and confirm the agreed deliverables in the itineraries
- Secure and confirm quotations/bookings with products and service vendors required for
- the ST and ET.
- Maintain and update a calendar of study tours
Project Management Duties:
- Work with the study tour personnel, academic and pperations team during the preparation stage to materialise the itinerary. (AL contracts, room bookings, Special guest lectures, etc)
- Manage on-the-ground execution of each ST and ET and be the clients’ other main point of contact for all related areas, for example transportation / accommodation management / logistical support etc
- Act as the facilitator to assign and communicate tasks clearly to team members on the executing ST activities on the ground.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of ST and ET participants through constant monitoring and execution of safety protocols whenever necessary.
- Prepare and conduct post-ST and ET reviews and evaluation meetings with clients to discuss areas for improvement and future business opportunities.
- Problem resolution:
- Serve as the contact point of collaborating partners, promptly address issues that may arise from time to time.
- Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen circumstances and minimize disruptions.
- Work closely with Team to timely address and achieve positive execution of the ST and ET

- Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company from time to time.
