Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of interfaces for the integration of the Murex treasury application with various internal and external systems, including those utilizing XML and XSLT for data transformation and exchange.
- Collaborate with business analysts, application developers, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements, analyze technical feasibility, and design robust integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive interface documentation, including design specifications, data mapping documents, and API specifications, with a focus on clear and accurate representation of XML schemas and XSLT
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards for interface development, security, and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior interface developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve interface-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the field of enterprise integration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing interfaces using integration tools and technologies such as Camel Framework, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and web services.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and experience with financial messaging standards (SWIFT, FIX), including those utilizing XML and XSLT for data representation.
- Proficiency in Java, React.js, JavaScript, PL/SQL, SQL, and UNIX/Linux scripting languages (Shell, Python), along with solid understanding of XML schema definition and XSLT processing.
- Experience with DevOps processes and tools (Maven, Git, Bitbucket, Nexus).
- Experience with test automation frameworks (JUnit).
- Knowledge of treasury applications and financial services industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex interface issues.
