Job Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts, including invoicing, receipt updates, vendor invoice processing, payment arrangements, journal entries, inter-company charges, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, fixed assets registers, and general ledger maintenance.
- Coordinate with Sales team and Operations team to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting information.
- Perform month-end closing activities and generate financial reports and management reports.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and conduct inter-company reconciliations.
- Handle documentation related to bank facilities.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST (Goods and Services Tax) filings.
- Manage audit processes and company tax matters.
- Assist in annual budgeting exercises and conduct variance analysis.
- Support the Finance Manager with other ad-hoc duties as needed.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess a diploma/degree in Accounting and Finance.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing full set of accounts.
- Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (particularly FRS116) and taxation.
- Proficiency in Accounting and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Experience with XERO software is advantageous but not required.
