Job Responsibilities:
As the Deputy Manager for Accounts & Operations, you will play a key role in the following:
- Assist in timely closing of accounts and prepare consolidation schedules
- Prepare financial schedules and statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with agreed service levels
- Post month-end journals according to established processes, procedures, and statutory requirements
- Compile quarterly GST reports, and prepare reports on related party transactions, sponsorships, and donations
- Reconcile monthly audit schedules, inter-company, and bank transactions
- Handle settlement of fixed assets and maintain fixed asset registers for assigned companies and cost centers
- Prepare financial statements in XBRL format
- Support external and internal audits, tax reporting, and other statutory requirements
- Manage daily operations related to funding requirements (shortfall/surplus)
- Collaborate closely with the Finance Shared Services Centre, other finance functions, and line of businesses
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International)
- Positive attitude, team player, meticulous, with the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
- Able to work independently with excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Knowledge of SAP S4, BPC, and ticketing tools is an advantage
