About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced BD to join the Valina Services team. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and identify market opportunities for the company. This role is crucial in driving market penetration and establishing partnerships and opportunities for the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead business development by actively identifying market opportunities, potential customers and establish new accounts to expand business.
- Develop a list of target prospective clients for specific service sales and a strategy to achieve defined sales target.
- Liaise with potential clients (cold calls, email, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Attend Life Sciences conferences and trade shows to generate leads and expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in sales and business development (Typically 5 years).
- Knowledge and understanding of the Life Sciences industry.
- Having established networks and contacts in the Life Sciences industry.
- Demonstrated track record of identifying and executing successful partnerships and deals, particularly in healthcare services or Life Sciences industries.
- Able to think out of the box and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and work well with others.
