My client is a prominent supplier of marine fuels, primarily based in Singapore, one of the world’s largest bunkering hubs. They are looking for an IT Support Executive to join the established team.
about the job
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Monitoring and maintaining office and ship-based computer systems, networks, and hardware, while coordinating with external IT vendors as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware or software issues.
- Supporting the preparation and administration of the Company’s IT policies and procedures.
- Contributing to the Company’s cybersecurity efforts by configuring and upgrading routers, switches, firewalls, proxy servers, anti-virus software, and access points.
- Conducting disaster recovery operations.
- Assisting with the implementation of new information management systems for the Company.
- Handling additional projects and tasks as assigned.
Successful candidates
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Experience in periodic internet and laptop upgrades, as well as setting up antivirus software.
