Responsibilities:
- Developing new and exciting baked goods recipes.
- Overseeing the production of all bakery goods.
- Ensuring all products meet quality standards.
- Ordering and managing inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
- Training and managing baking staff.
- Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
- Communicating effectively with suppliers, staff, and management.
- Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels.
- Troubleshooting any issues relating to baking or staff performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a baker or head baker.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
- Capable of creating and modifying recipes.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Culinary school diploma, Baking and Pastry Arts certification, or relevant field is a plus.
