Emirates NBD Singapore Corporate & Institutional Banking caters to the requirements of corporates and financial institutions, while contributing to the bank’s revenue growth and profitability.
We are looking for a suitably qualified candidates to assist the Relationship Manager for client coverage for corporate and institutional clients, in the areas of credit assessment, client servicing and client due diligence.
The job holder is expected to contribute to the client coverage function of C&IB. Responsibilities include:
· Working closely with the Relationship Manager on the prospecting and onboarding of new clients from a start to end perspective involving prospect identification, basic due diligence, spreading of financials & internal credit risk rating, credit analysis (including financial analysis), preparation of credit/facility application, legal documentation and facilitating the process for credit facilities/limits to be made available to clients for utilization. In the process, the job holder is expected to work with various stakeholders involved in the respective process to ensure smooth client onboarding.
· KYC/CDD wise, the job holder is expected to assist the RM in ensuring the KYC/CDD requirements for new client onboarding, annual reviews of CDD or event-driven reviews are duly prepared.
· Engagement with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver business objectives is strongly preferred. The job holder is encouraged to join client meetings, engage in client account strategy, product cross-sell discussions and initiatives with both prospects and existing borrowers.
· In the ordinary course of our business where ad hoc or exceptional approvals are required, the job holder is expected to work with the RM to obtain the necessary approvals.
· Participation in ad hoc projects or initiatives that serve to deliver C&IB’s business objectives or towards the broader strategy of the Bank.

Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
- Ability to speak and read Chinese language to communicate with our mandarin speaking clients
- Good communication, interpersonal & written skills for both internal & external stakeholder engagement
- Proficient in MS Office
- Results-orientated, having initiative, takes ownership the responsibilities with positive attitude, keen to learn/acquire new knowledge.
