REINSURANCE SERVICES COORDINATOR – SUBMISSION MANAGEMENT

Job Description & Requirements

REPORTING MATRIX :

  • Direct Reporting to Regional Chief Executive Officer & Director – Southeast Asia
  • Dotted-line matrix reporting to Chief Financial Officer & Head of Operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage submission management system including the entire life cycle of new accounts, renewals and their corresponding endorsements
  2. Implement the Company’s formal quality management process related to facultative reinsurance slips including verifying the completeness and content of the slip
  3. Monitor and follow-up with Cedant on Reinsurance Slip subjectivities and conditions through the subjectivity tracker
  4. Ensure that Reinsurance Slips are signed by participating reinsurers and counter-signed by Insurer/ Cedant on a timely basis
  5. Maintain a systematic process to track compliance
  6. Ensure compliance with the Reinsurance Slip checklist and quality assurance program
  7. Report instantly Reinsurance Slip quality standard deviations to respective teams and Executive Management
  8. Prepare consolidated months reports of quality review findings along with recommendations to Executive Management
  9. Contribute to the improvement of the Company’s quality review procedures

KEY SKILLS

  1. Importantly, the understanding and application of the “Kay9 Data System”
  2. Experience in Reinsurance Broking Services or from the Re/insurance industry
  3. Strong attention to details and keen sense of accuracy in the data processing task
  4. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize own workload whilst adhering to tight and pressing deadlines
  5. Ability to learn and adapt quickly and to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  6. Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a team player
  7. Can easily learn and manage systems and applications used by the Company
  8. 3 to 5 years of commercial insurance, preferably reinsurance broking experience
  9. Good written and oral communication skills
  10. Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Pivot Table, Words and PowerPoint)
  11. Ability to produce Management Reports and data analysis
