JOB SCOPE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee construction planning, scheduling and tracking of projects/deliverables
- Obtain inputs from project team members, contractors, suppliers and client to support the development of a baseline schedule, and subsequently update schedule progress and forecasting
- Maintain project baseline schedule, timely updating of project schedule, and analyze effects of any proposed changes/additional activities on the project
- Develop and maintain Resource Loaded Schedule and Progress Measurement System based on Construction Bill of Quantities, and Critical Path Method Schedule
- Prepare and maintain S-curves, manpower histogram and commodity curves for reporting
- Produce project progress reports and narratives on project status including the production of graphs, critical paths, risks tables, etc
- Tracking and managing schedule interface
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports based on site reporting matrix.
- Highlight potential delays and work with project team members and stakeholders to mitigate delay risks, including proposing recovery strategy and draft recovery schedule when required
- Coordinate with QS, Procurement and Project teams on progress claims
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Degree in Building Construction Management / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry preferably in water treatment projects. Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory
- Experience in planning and management of complex construction projects
- Good understanding of procurement, engineering and construction sequence
