Our client, European commodity trading firm, is hiring for a Senior Executive to support end-to-end operations for their agri-business. The scope includes:
- Managing shipping documents
- Handling dry-bulk shipments and coordinating with external stakeholders
- Liaising with banks on letters of credit, negotiations and collection of documentation
- Posting receivable and payabl
- Control of procurement account
- Handling full operations support to trader once business is concluded
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 7+ years of working experience in commodity industry, preferably handling agri-commods and dry bulk shipments
- Knowledge of UCP 600, GAFTA, Incoterms, GENCON charter party, laytime calculations and CMA
- Positive working attitude with initiative and attention to details
- Fluency in Mandarin is required to communicate with Chinese stakeholders such as operators and charterers
