SHOP SALES MANAGER

  • Oversee the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Lead and manage a team of shop staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve performance targets.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales, increase customer footfall, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and expenses to optimize store profitability.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, ensuring products are displayed attractively and in line with company guidelines.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the store, ensuring exceptional customer service is provided at all times.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Implement loss prevention measures and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels, coordinating with suppliers and the central warehouse for timely replenishment.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports, financial statements, and operational data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Sound knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
  • Familiarity with retail software systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Able to multitask, and manage time effectively
  • Able to work long hours and on weekends & public holidays
