Position Summary
This position will take full execution responsibility of Dairy business in China market. He/she will own the business strategy of the Dairy business, identify and capture opportunities to profitably expand the business into new level.
Key Deliverables
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead and manage the sales team to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and deal closures.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
- Ensure efficient and effective sales operations, including order processing, logistics, and customer service.
- Implement and maintain best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and manage the business unit's budget & expenses
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with commodity sales and trading.
- Implement and oversee risk management strategies and procedures.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in cash market trading, with a focus on agricultural commodities or Food Ingredients
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret market data, assess trading opportunities, and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
- As the role need to interface with chinese speaking clients, knowledge of Mandarin is essential.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L management
- Thorough understanding of risk management principles and regulatory requirements governing trading activities in China
