Job Description
As the company’s Finance Executive you manage the day-to-day Finance and Business Admin matters of Lufthansa Systems in the Asia Pacific region in accordance with applicable Accounting Standards and compliance with internal control policies and financial procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing as well as processing of vendor invoices and staff reimbursements, including posting into SAP
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing
- Ensure timely reconciliation of financial transactions, including intercompany transactions
- Prepare quarterly GST report for submission
- Ensure correct and timely input to forecast company’s cash flow using internal applications
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards as well as internal control policies and financial procedures
- Liaise with company’s employees, management, vendors, customers, auditors as well as financial service partners outside of Singapore, where required
- Administrative and special tasks, as required
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or comparable financial qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a financial accounting position
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Analytical and equipped with problem-solving skills
- Ability to work diligently and self-directed
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
