Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and baking of biscotti, cookies, breads, pastries and cakes.
- Shaping, slicing dough to achieve the desired standard and thickness.
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection.
- Decorate and finish baked goods, including icing, glazing, and garnishing.
- Present finished products in a variety of appealing packaging for an attractive display.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment and machinery, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies and ingredients.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers, answering questions, and taking special orders and cashiering.
Qualification:
- Previous experience in a bakery or culinary environment is preferred.
- Basic understanding of baking techniques and principles.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- 5 days week and flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy bags of flour and other ingredients, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Full time $1600 to $2000, Part time $10 to $12 per hour.
