What You’ll Do
- Carefully evaluate enhancement requests, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Collaborate with architects to propose effective solutions that align with business objectives and technical constraints
- Develop detailed specifications, estimate workloads, plan project timelines, design test scenarios, and create comprehensive release documentation
- Coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet stakeholder expectations and adhere to quality standards
- Oversee monthly releases, adhering to the team's established milestones for analysis, coding, and testing
- Provide ongoing support for released applications, ensuring their stability and performance in production environments
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and bugs to maintain system reliability
- Share your expertise by coaching and guiding junior team members
What Will Make You Shine
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Calypso / Murex business analyst, specializing in the back office
- Deep understanding of Calypso / Murex, with expertise in Static Data, Workflows, Scheduled Tasks, Confirmations, Settlements, Messages (including Swift), Positions, Accounting, Corporate Actions, Filters, Reporting Framework, and Reconciliation features
- Strong grasp of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and the trade lifecycle
- Experience with regulatory reporting frameworks such as HRF, NORIA, and MMSR
- Proficiency in interfacing Calypso / Murex with external systems
- Proven ability to implement Non-Recoverable (NR) scenarios
- Willingness to provide Level 3 support when necessary
