Scope:
The Staff Resources Schedule Planner is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining staff schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation, and minimizing labor costs.
Planning and Scheduling
1. Create and publish staff schedules (rotating shifts, daily, weekly, monthly) using scheduling software.
2. Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet business demands.
3. Plan for employee availability, time-off requests, and leave management.
4. Coordinate with department heads to ensure staffing needs are met.
Staff Resource Management
1. Monitor staff availability, attendance, and tardiness.
2. Maintain accurate records of staff certifications, licenses, and qualifications.
Communication and Coordination
1. Communicate schedules, changes, and updates to staff and management.
2. Collaborate with HR for recruitment, onboarding, and employee data management.
3. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., operations, customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery.
Compliance and Administration
1. Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
2. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
3. Administer scheduling software and systems.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
1. Schedule adherence rate
2. Labor cost as a percentage of revenue
3. Employee satisfaction and engagement
4. Overtime reduction
5. Staff retention and turnover
Skills and Qualifications:
1. 3+ years of experience in staff scheduling, HR, or operations. with a minimum of Diploma/ degree in business/HR /project management will be an advantage
2. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
3. Proficient in scheduling software (e.g., Deputy, When I Work).
4. Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
5. Basic knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
