Digital Transformation Program manager

Leads customer engagement to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing customer projects. Manages corporate, customer and third party vendor efforts to plan, sell and implement solutions to customer problems. Responsible for business as well as team management. Responsible for establishing and maintaining the portfolio and project management environment based upon Policies, Standards, Customer Engagement Roadmap and Global Method. May perform responsibilities as a member of an Engagement Program Management Office (EPMO) or as a business unit leader

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.


Responsibilities:

  • Independently identifies solutions to common and complex issues and drives complex projects or modules of large complex programs within the domains of operations, supply chain management and logistics.
  • Acts as a peer leader on a cross functional project team.
  • Owns decision-making within projects and contributes to digital solutions to managers.
  • Acts as a resource to other business units for issues on digital transformation.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, Mathematics / Statistics, etc.)
  • A minimum of 7 years of business experience with at least 5 years of Supply Chain, IT, or relevant functional experience is required; Candidates with a good understanding of supply chain ERP /MES/ planning systems are preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or operations role in industry consulting related to the above domains; Alternately candidates with transformation experience in the above domains are also welcome to apply
  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects/modules from design to implementation, with a capability to work independently

Required Skills:

  • Critical thinking, with outstanding analytical, stakeholder influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Understanding and experience in requirements understanding, definition, and prototyping of products and platforms is required
  • Experience with Agile product development methodology and tools is preferred
  • Comfort with constructively challenging existing processes and working on improving processes and outcomes
  • Growth mindset with ability to work with a diverse and global team
  • Preferred skills:
  • Operations experience in a manufacturing or management of contract manufacturing environment
  • Digital product management experience in building digital products and platforms or intelligent process automation solutions including but not limited to applications in advanced analytics, business intelligence, and blockchain / distributed ledger in supply chains
  • Understanding of leading technologies in the field of supply chain analytics and transformation :
  • Working experience on basic analytics tools and languages including advanced excel skills
