Restaurant Supervisor (Burma Western Fusion Restaurant)

Working days: Tuesday to Sunday

** Overtime pay (1.5x) will be payable for hours worked over 44 hours per week

** Staff meal provided

Benefits (after probation period): 10 days annual leave & 14 days sick leave

** Year-end variable performance bonus (depending on individual performance)

Work place: Telok Blangah Road

Operation hours: 11am - 11.45pm


Requirements:

- Passionate in F&B industry and willing to accept challenges

- 1 - 2 years relevant working experience

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge about beer, wine in general and alcoholic beverages

- Ability to use transaction operational system (POS)

- Bilingual (communicate in other Asian language will be an advantage)

- Willing and able to work on Public Holidays and weekends

- Service-oriented, proactive, team player and friendly attitude


Job Description:

- Assist restaurant manager in daily operations

- Responsible for and supervise the activities of service personnel to ensure efficient and effective operations

- Ensure that customers receive a warm welcome and attentive service from service staff throughout their visit

- Handle customer complaints/feedback and ensure immediate remedial action is taken in a professional manner

- Supervise and ensure all food and beverages are served to customers in a timely manner

- Recommend special dishes to customers and up-sell where possible

- Supervise and assist (hands-on) service staff preparation and setup (before business begins)

- Supervise and assist (hands-on) service staff in clearing tables after customers leave (wiping tables and clearing dishes)

- Ensure the restaurant is kept clean from start to finish

- Ensure compliance with all hygiene and cleanliness standards required by the NEA (eg. broken glassware, cleanliness of utensils, etc..)

- Coordinate with colleagues and kitchen chefs/staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations

- Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by managers and management.
