This will be a permanent position based in Geylang.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the IT Team
- Manage team performance and career development by mentoring and performance review
- Overall management, support and optimization of IT/MIS operations
- Team leader in ensuring high quality and cost effective solutions to meet daily operations needs
- Manage IT service requests including analysis and monitoring to ensure timely resolution
- Creation of user requirement documents
- Work together with technical teams for system enhancements
- Advocate for technology innovations that will meet and improve business needs
- IT projects management
- Foster an environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
- Responsible for database and system administration
- Responsible for database reliability, security, backup and disaster recovery
- Responsible for database performance optimization
- Responsible for the Safeguarding of data, network access and backup systems
- Identify and neutralize potential security threats/vulnerabilities
- Responsible for IT infrastructure
- Ensure optimal performance of IT infrastructure
- Ensure seamless integration of systems
- Ensure application software and portals are updated to meet user’s requirements
- Responsible for system integration, ensuring harmonization across the company
- Responsible for regular assessment and reviewing of systems.
- Responsible for managing IT projects, IT policies, IT procedures and IT budget
- Responsible for administrative guidelines and procedures on all IT matters and policies
- Update and ensure relevancy of IT policies, procedures, practices and equipment
- Work closely with the vendors to ensure smooth operations
- Regular review of vendor performance
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Computer Science/Computer Studies/Management Information Systems
- 5 years of relevant working experience
- 3 years of experience in leading a small team
- Experience in legacy system migration, ERP setup and Power BI development
- Able to lead and mentor junior team members
- Able to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Able to make sound decisions and plans on IT matters
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Able to multi-task
- Able to keep abreast with changing technology and security threats
