Job Description
1) Nights:
- Ensure residents are sleeping in their own beds, safe, and behave.
- Conduct random patrols of all bedrooms at least once an hour and update and record any unusual happenings in the Communications book.
- Look out for and report any signs of danger or misbehaviour, including suspicion of self-harm, sexual abuse or other forms of misbehaviour or refusal to follow instructions.
- To attend to and monitor the health being of sick children and, if necessary, bring them to the hospital.
- Ensure residents are safely evacuated during a fire alarm.
- To clean and tidy the Home, maintaining cleanliness and neatness.
2) Mornings:
- To prepare and ensure residents had their breakfast.
- To clean up the kitchen after breakfast and maintain its general cleanliness.
- Ensure children have all their school belongings ready and sign them out in the movement log.
- To see children off in their transport in the mornings.
Candidate Requirement
- At least GCE 'N' level
- Physically fit and able to stay awake and alert for long hours at night
- Able to relate to children and youths, supervise and manage behaviours.
- Preferably has experience working in a child-centred work environments
Working Hours/Place
- 4-day work week, 10 pm to 8 am (Preferably able to work from Fridays to Mondays, including public holidays)
