Job Description:
DCS Automation Engineer (DeltaV)
We are seeking an experienced DeltaV DCS Engineer with 8-10 years of relevant experience, ideally in the Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and commissioning DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for GAMP manufacturing sites, with a deep understanding of Batch S88 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and commissioning of DeltaV DCS projects for GAMP manufacturing sites.
- Ensure compliance with Batch S88 standards, including Control Modules (CM), Equipment Modules (EM), Phases, Recipes, and Units.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and optimize pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical processes.
- Work with automation hardware and networking technologies to support system implementation.
- Manage and coordinate automation information across multiple stakeholders.
- Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and quality management processes specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on DeltaV DCS in the Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of DeltaV DCS Batch systems.
- Strong understanding of GAMP standards and regulatory requirements in the pharma sector.
- Familiarity with Batch S88 standards for process automation.
- Experience with automation hardware and networking technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both remotely and onsite as needed.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, managing multiple stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with quality management processes in the pharmaceutical industry.
