*Entry Level* Software Engineer | Low-Code Platforms

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate, collaborating closely with the Project Manager, business analysts, and UI/UX designers. Your contributions will ensure that applications meet client requirements and adhere to established best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Project Manager:
- Provide bi-weekly progress reports on app development to the PM for updates to client units.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines established by the PM.
- Advise the PM on conducting prototype trials and acceptance testing.
Solution Development:
- Develop applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate that meet client unit requirements as defined by the business analyst and prioritized by the PM.
- Incorporate feedback from the UI/UX designer to enhance user experience.
- Adhere to RSN-established best practices and standards in software development and data management.
- Utilize Microsoft Dataverse as the primary database for all solutions.
User Trial and Debugging Phase:
- Prepare a basic operating guide for Power Platform solutions.
- Create and distribute a survey to gather feedback on user trials.
- Conduct user trials with up to 30 users and compile feedback for analysis.
- Implement necessary improvements based on user feedback.
Deployment Phase:
- Configure user access rights and roles in the Power Platform Admin Center.
- Support user onboarding for Power Platform solutions.
- Train user-administrators on the daily administration of applications.
Sustainment Phase:
- Address and resolve any software bugs reported by users.
- Implement enhancements to solutions as approved by the PM.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Good to Have certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.
