Reporting to the Steward Supervisor, your job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Maintains the level of detergent feeding and checks the pre-wash and rinse temperatures of the dishwashing machine.
- Keeps stock of clean operating equipment
- Distributes all cleaned operating equipment to the respective kitchens.
- Cleans the workstation, dishwashing equipment, kitchen utensils, kitchen floor and maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the surrounding areas.
- Polishes all silverware to maintain the lustre.
- Ensures that the dishwashing machine is in good working condition.
- Reports any malfunction of equipment to the Steward Supervisor.
- Assists in buffet setup and clearance of equipment.
- Assists in transporting the kitchen stock to the various kitchens.
- Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Management.
Job Summary
- Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of all chinaware, glassware and silverware as well as cooking utensils and equipment in the kitchen.
