1. Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company development plans and overall business objectives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making across the management team.
- Drive initiatives to achieve the company’s global revenue targets.
2. Budgeting, Forecasting, & Financial Reporting
- Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and presentations for senior management and the board.
- Monitor budgetary performance, report variances, and support departmental managers with financial guidance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
- Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with regulations.
3. Operational Finance Management
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including Accounting, Treasury and Cash Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Taxation and general ledger.
- Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing and reconciliations.
- Maintain the integrity of financial accounting systems and records.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, prepare forecasts, and manage banking relationships.
- Responsible for External Audit.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to mitigate risk.
5. Strategic Support & Development
- Analyze and interpret financial data and present the information with reports and presentations to the Group and Singapore CEO & management team
- Provide strategic financial insights to management.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring long-term financial stability.
- Conduct financial due diligence for new partnerships, acquisitions, and business ventures.
- Support financial analysis and reporting for investments and projects.
- Manage and coordinate financial aspects of outsourcing initiatives and vendor relationships.
Requirement
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or CFA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years finance experience, of which the recent 5 years must be in a finance leadership capacity
- Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IRFS)
- Preferred candidate in related such as Finance, Insurance sector, Broking Industry
- Investment support, financing, treasury, regional experience and strategy development are key responsibilities of this role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to adjust to shifting priorities while meeting critical deadlines.
