Job Details:
- Contract Term: 6 months - convertible depend on the business needs
- Location: Tanjong Pagar
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee payroll processing for SEA and Japan, ensuring accurate and timely results by coordinating with the third-party payroll vendor, including income tax submissions.
- Assist with the implementation of the global payroll vendor and address current issues with Strada Global.
- Work with company Business Services (BBS) on benefits and leave enrollment for employees.
- Support the HR Business Partner with employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding and offboarding.
- Manage external vendors for payroll, benefits, and mobility administration, including insurance renewals, tax reporting, and audits.
- Coordinate work pass renewals and applications with immigration vendors.
- Maintain the HRIS system and organize personnel files in OpenText.
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports for internal departments (Finance, IT) and external stakeholders (e.g., MOM).
- Contribute to other HR projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with a strong focus on payroll management, particularly across multiple countries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (advanced skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP), and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of regional payroll and employment regulations in SEA.
- Strong vendor management skills with a meticulous attention to detail, especially in reconciliation.
- Ability to adapt and effectively manage challenges in a transitional vendor environment.
