The Global Markets Division is responsible for Deutsche Bank’s capital markets business, comprising the sales and trading of capital markets products including debt, equity, and other fixed income and currency products. Your key responsibilities:

The key responsibility for the project manager role is to lead and manage concurrent operations transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, productivity and scalability across APAC & MEA.

Candidate is expected to understand the evolving industry trends for cash and trade operations products and processes as well as regional and global operations demands. Roles and responsibility involve the following aspects,

Project Management:

  • Lead project planning, execution and monitoring.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, solution, plan, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on the project objectives and timelines.
  • Proactively highlight any dependencies, escalate any risk and issues timely.

Transformation:

  • Lead and drive operations transformation agenda, includes establishing and monitoring the book of work at regional level. Working with key stakeholders, partners to drive on time and quality execution and achieve cost target.
  • Driving consistency, standardized and simplified processes across all locations. While balancing with specific in-country needs and regulation.

Process Improvement:

  • Drive operational solutioning with the aim to improve efficiency, reduce risk and create scalable process.
  • Ensure completeness of documentation on the as-is vs to-be and any applicable business continuity process.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Working with stakeholders to develop key performance indicator to measure success of transformation projects.
  • Monitor project performance and reporting to respective leadership forum.

Your skills and experience:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Financial Institution with Corporate and Transaction Banking business, Cash, Trade and Payments-related Products & Operations experience.
  • Proven hands-on experience in driving APAC enterprise level operational transformation project rollout; ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Proven analytical skills, able to demonstrate flexibility regarding problem solving.
  • Ability to understand different business processes across functions and locations especially in the APAC & MEA region.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Take ownership and able to work in tight deadlines fast-paced environment.
  • Manage complexity and ambiguity well with entrepreneurial thinking and taking ownership to initiate and execute initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of automation toolkit such as Tableau, Alteryx and Robotic Process Automation
  • Working knowledge of human centered design/ design thinking

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
