- Diploma / Degree in Purchasing & Materials Management or relevant field.
- Preferably at least 4 years of working experience in purchasing / procurement.
- Preferably 2 year of hands-on experience with Dynamics Navision System.
- A good team player with ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Possess good negotiation skills and good knowledge of construction costs and related rates.
- Meticulous with strong analytical skills
- Intelligent Entry Level candidates with a passion to work in construction industry are welcome
Job Description
- Liaise with project team on material specification.
- Material sourcing, price negotiation and order fulfilment including ISO's compliances.
- Preparation and execution of purchase requisition.
- Arrange timely delivery of material.
- Manage material / inventory level at sites and ensure the target level is met but not overstock.
- Manage the Company’s material, assets and equipment / machinery rental at sites and ensure within budget.
- Perform cost analysis and generate reports.
- Meet subcontractors and suppliers onsite as necessary.
- Manage equipment and/or machinery rental.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
