Senior Interior Designer
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire design process, from concept development to final execution.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and design standards.
- Ensure all designs align with client requirements, brand identity, and company standards.
- Develop creative and innovative design concepts, plans, and presentations.
- Produce sketches, renderings, and digital drawings to communicate design ideas to clients and team members.
- Ensure the functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability of all designs.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their vision, needs, and project objectives.
- Present design proposals and concepts to clients, adjusting based on feedback and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact throughout the project.
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other third parties to ensure the project is executed according to the design specifications.
- Source materials, furniture, and fixtures, ensuring they meet the design’s aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Review construction documents and plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Develop project timelines, coordinating with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure on-time delivery.
- Resolve any design-related or logistical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in interior design
- Proven track record of leading projects from concept through completion.
- Experience in managing teams and collaborating with external contractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Creative vision: Ability to produce original and innovative design concepts.
- Technical expertise: Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong leadership capabilities to mentor and guide a team of designers.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for client engagement and managing expectations.
- Capacity to address design challenges and on-site construction issues effectively.
- Portfolio of completed design projects showcasing creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings, and project management.
Interior Designer
Responsibilities
- Good knowledge of interior details, working drawings and construction practices.
- Flair in design; able to sketch fast and produce good design concept.
- Good understanding of materials cost and application.
- Work closely with the project manager, design coordinators, and project teams on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production.
- Responsible for project deliverables, meeting overall project design schedules.
- Result-oriented and passionate to deliver projects successfully.
- Able to work independently with a high degree of integrity.
- Work closely with the team to develop, coordinate and implement the interior design of projects from concept design to documentation and construction.
- Liaison with client, sub-contractor.
Requirements
- A recognized Diploma in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Provision with CAD/Photoshop/Sketch-up/Microsoft Office
- Strong presentation, communication & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings, and project management.
