JOB SUMMARY
Supervises and coordinates all activities related to Quality Control. Analysing and reporting of quality performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for the quality control during the production stage in accordance to the ISO standard
· Ensure compliance with ISO9001:2008 quality standards
· Assist in document control and maintenance of ISO 9001 quality management system
· Supervise daily QC Activities to ensure inspections are carried out appropriately
· Analyzing and reporting of quality performance
· Document and quality data control
· Analyze quality problems found by QC Inspectors, interacting with other departments on problem resolution
· Monitoring quality performance, verifying corrective actions to ensure effectiveness
· Identifies and initiates actions to prevent nonconformity relating to internal process and products
· Recommends quality improvement measures to immediate superior
· Raise NCMR/CAR according to procedures
· Handling customer complaints/reject, ensuring they are resolved satisfactorily with counter measures done and recorded
· Supervise the practice of SPC procedures, initiating reaction plan for out of control situations
· Training of QC Inspectors, as and when required
· Other duties as assigned from time to time
Requirements
· Diploma in Business or Engineering.
· Minimum 2 – 3 years with QC background.
· Good leadership skills.
· Able to motivate team to meet schedule and quality.
