We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Membership and Partnership Manager to join our team. The Membership and Partnership Manager will be a key player in building and nurturing strategic partnerships, driving membership growth with the ability to identify partnership opportunities and negotiate win-win agreements that supports mutual success and collaboration.
The manager is responsible for the timely development and implementation of quality, effective and relevant membership recruitment/conversion, engagement and retention programmes for improved member benefit offerings and increased overall member satisfaction. Responsibilities include working closely with different stakeholders to establish relationships while building up resources and synergising efforts.
Responsibilities:
Membership Growth: Develop and execute strategies to attract and onboard new members, both corporate and institutional, while retaining existing ones.
Members’ Engagement: To develop, manage and implement membership programmes and initiatives to foster strong relationships with members to connect and empower the nEbO and U Club Communities.
Research: To keep up with trends and continuously engage in ongoing market research, members’ insights, and assessment of programmes to ensure effectiveness, relevancy, and viability in the context of the community’s needs, concerns, and aspirations. Include facilitating and managing engagement processes, online platforms, and feedback channels to effectively bridge gaps between current and desired outcomes.
Partnership Development: To identify, nurture and build rewarding connections and collaborations with existing and new strategic partnerships to strengthen community involvement, elevate the brand presence and generate potential new business opportunities and recruitment channels.
Stakeholders Management: To be the relationship beacon and work closely with internal stakeholders – NTUC Club’s entities and communities – as well as Labour Movement’s network of unions, workforce limbs and affiliated associations, to foster strong ground support for better integration and management of resources and efforts.
Partnership Growth: Develop strategies to expand and diversify communities’ partnerships to support the organisation’s mission.
Partnership Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement adequate monitoring and evaluation processes to assess progress and ensure benchmarking.
Requirements:
- Recognised University Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience
- Possess membership engagement and growth, partnership relationship management experiences, or where relevant and equivalent
- Possess a strong partnership network of corporate and institutional partners
- Cross-functional influence, relationship building, and project management skills toward a broad range of stakeholders
- Good social networking and negotiation skills
- Has high-level of professionalism, integrity and tact
- Ability to execute good judgement, work under pressure and a can-do spirit
- Enterprising with ability to put ideas into action
- A team player and adaptable to embrace changes
