We are seeking a Sales and Marketing Executive to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the FMCG and/or grocery retail sectors, particularly in sales, marketing, or distribution to supermarkets. Strong analytical skills are essential for evaluating market data, sales performance, and the impact of marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support:
- Manage relationships with key supermarket clients and retail partners.
- Assist in developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive activities.
- Prepare sales reports and provide insights into performance metrics for both our brands and partner brands.
Marketing Assistance:
- Help develop and coordinate marketing campaigns, promotions, and in-store activities.
- Collaborate with external brands and agencies to execute marketing plans.
- Assist in designing and managing point-of-sale (POS) materials, product displays, and merchandising.
- Coordinate social media, digital, and traditional marketing efforts.
Analytical and Reporting Functions:
- Conduct data analysis on sales trends, customer behavior, and market conditions to support informed decision-making.
- Create and maintain dashboards to track sales and marketing performance.
- Analyze promotional effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.
Product and Client Management:
- Assist in managing stock levels and ensuring timely replenishment for key clients.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to coordinate product launches and promotions.
- Provide customer service and support to supermarket clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or distribution within the FMCG industry.
- Experience with both branded products and agency brands.
- Knowledge of POS design and merchandising strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Understanding of supermarket operations and retail distribution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and market analysis software.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
