Your new role
As IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Scope, plan, and manage projects through the entire life cycle, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality.
- Provide project management expertise and lead key project work streams, following the full project life cycle and project governance processes
- Coordinate project activities among functional and technical team members and consultants.
- Establish and maintain risk assessment to identify and assess the material risks that arise in their area of responsibility
- Build and maintain relationships across the organization to facilitate achievement of strategic goals throughout the project lifecycle.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as computer science, information technology, computer engineering or another closely related discipline.
- Proven track record and experience in supporting government or public sector related IT projects is a must.
- At least 5 – 10 years of IT application project management experience in Agile or Hybrid methodology.
- Vendor and contract management experience is highly desirable.
- Technical understanding of cloud services such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- PMP or Scrum certification will be added value.
- A proven track record of managing government/complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
