Assistant Finance Manager

Our client is a Singapore-based food technology company dedicated to addressing the pressing issues of globesity and diabetes in Asia. Through innovative solutions and specialized food products, they aim to improve dietary choices and promote healthier lifestyles across the region. Committed to sustainability and public health, they collaborate with various stakeholders to create impactful, accessible food options that contribute to a healthier future. As they grow, they are seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to become part of their team.


Salary: $5,500 - $6,500, plus variable bonus based on organizational performance

Work Schedule: 5-day work week


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial insights into business strategies.
  • Provide objective financial recommendations to support informed decision-making and optimize resource utilization.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to guide organizational planning.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies for cost control and efficiency improvements.
  • Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation is a plus.
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Finance Manager or Accountant, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
