Location: Bedok Green Primary School, 1 Bedok South Ave 2, Singapore 469317
Contract Duration: 1 March 2025 to 28 February 2026 (with an option to extend for 1 year)
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break).
- No work required on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the school, greeting students, parents, and vendors in a professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and respond to walk-in inquiries.
- Assist injured students and ensure they receive proper care.
Handle any inquiries from staff and escalate them when necessary.
Administrative Duties:
- Perform data entry using Microsoft Excel and Word.
Organize and maintain filing systems. - Count, sort, and distribute flyers and other materials.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Undertake ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.
Customer Service:
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and school staff.
Remain calm and composed during peak periods at the front desk. - Handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Minimum qualification: āNā Levels.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Experience with front desk responsibilities, customer service, and administrative tasks.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage stress during busy periods.
- Friendly, approachable, and enjoys working with children.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
