Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of private market deals, including origination, screening, due diligence, and structuring.
- Update and maintain a high-quality database of primary and secondary private market issues.
- Build and sustain relationships with potential buyers and sellers.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce key marketing materials, such as fact sheets and investment decks.
- Support the business development team in marketing direct investments to clients.
- Stay informed on the latest market trends and relevant news.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements
Qualifications & requirements:
- The ideal candidate should hold at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accountancy, economics, or business administration, with 2-3 years of relevant work experience. A master’s degree in finance or business administration is a plus but not required.
- Candidates with backgrounds in marketing or communication who have a strong interest in finance will also be considered.
- Experience in client-facing roles, stakeholder management, or consulting, particularly within the finance industry, is preferred.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and excellent organizational skills.
- Critical thinking skills with a focus on improving and developing products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required, with strong business proficiency. Knowledge of Mandarin Chinese and/or Japanese is considered a plus.
- A self-motivated, fast learner who can multitask effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in data management, processing, or analysis is advantageous.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint), SQL, and Python, demonstrated through work experience or projects.
- A highly motivated team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across business units.
