As Construction Manager you shall lead the construction portfolio and team for the fabrication of an offshore substation and platform. This includes leading all personnel on the various fabrication sites in Singapore and other overseas yards, leading a team of over 30 through construction and then commissioning.
As Construction Manager you shall be responsible for:
- Construction works and management of full construction teams including the inspection teams.
- All site SHE, technical, contractual and quality matters, along with overall progress of the project.
- Supporting the Lead Execution Manager in hiring of all construction personnel.
- Ensuring compliance to all construction specifications, codes and standards.
- Establishing the construction process and procedures on site.
- Leading all audits to evaluate all construction progress and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Supporting the PMO with all risk and compliance matters.
As Construction Manager you shall need to be qualified and have experience in:
- Master’s Degree in an engineering discipline
- Extensive experience in construction management and new build construction/fabrication, including technical project management over 10 years
- Experience managing the construction/fabrication of HVDC Offshore Platforms
- Strong leadership ability and experience/competence with establishing structured working methods and site processes
