Responsibilities:
- Model development: Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to address specific business problems or opportunities.
- Data preprocessing: Clean, preprocess, and analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights and features for use in AI/ML models.
- Model training and evaluation: Train, validate, and optimise machine learning models using various techniques such as cross-validation, hyperparameter tuning, and performance evaluation.
- Model deployment: Deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and real-time performance.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, iterate on models, and integrate AI/ML solutions into existing systems.
- Research and innovation: Stay updated on the latest AI/ML research, tools, and best practices, and apply innovative approaches to solve complex problems and drive continuous improvement.
- Documentation and reporting: Document the development process, model performance, and insights generated, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
